To get Bottas?
Exactly this. Commentators not figured that out yet. Vettel needs to win , not wait for 3rd.
I think everyone understands that. However everyone also knows that you don’t just throw it up the inside with Verstappen.
Very true. Only a desperate man would. And at the start of today, Ferrari and Seb are in a very desperate position.

On another note,
Lewis did a 1.34.0 on 26 lap old softs.
Max did a 1.33.8 on a brand new set of softs.

That merc is now a true beast.

The best thing that Vettel can do is forget about this championship (he still thinks he has a chance - his words) and work on next season.
It’s not just this single year though. It’s the past 2 years. Think about Singapore as just 1 example from last season.

Every time the littlest thing happens it will be in the back of Vettel mind. It’s human nature no matter what happen in the closed season.

Yeah whatever way you look at it , someone caused a collision, and thats 'usually' a penalty.

Desperation is 1 thing. Utter stupidity doing something which has a very likely outcome is something else. Throwing it at Verstappen has a very likely outcome.

As for the Mercedes.......Well yeah :o

There is a tendency to be lean on Vettel by stewards.

Shhhhh! Don't say that out loud.
Have I just seen both Saubers jump out of vettels way ?? Nah can't be true.

So are Red Bull 2 stopping Max and 1 stopping Ric ?

I think the unconsistency is killing this sport. It should be shame for everyone. you cause a collision penalty. I understand when it is wheel to wheel that can be a race incident. Otherwise not penalty at all for everyone. But you can't do for some and others just look away

Hoping for a safety car to bunch up the field...this is way too easy for Mercedes.
