Looks like a loophole found, if you make the brake duct cover concave you can use that room for aero purposes.bucker wrote: ↑19 Feb 2019, 21:23Aren't those illegal by 2019 rules?ringo wrote: ↑19 Feb 2019, 20:37look like vortex generators to put air behind the wheels and clean up the wheel turbulence.MtthsMlw wrote: ↑19 Feb 2019, 16:36Some small fins on the wheel hub as well.

It doesn't state that this system gives them 0.5 secs over Merc! Instead it says that Ferrari are over 0.5 secs in front of Merc right now and that has to do both with the front wing design and the rear axle lowering in the straight...which is totally legal it seems!syntaxerror147 wrote: ↑19 Feb 2019, 22:29This report states that Ferrari has a system to lower the rear axle on the straights in order to reduce drag:

Red Bull / Toro Rossos / Franz Toast stating that would give them half a second advantage over merc or more
Mclaren has similar wing philosophy?AMG.Tzan wrote: ↑19 Feb 2019, 22:51It doesn't state that this system gives them 0.5 secs over Merc! Also Franz Tost says that it will take 3-4 months to copy the Ferrari front wing design since you will have to change the whole car aero philosophy!
Any footage where you can clearly see this? I tried to find something, but in my opinion there is nothing realy visible, especially when seeing the front of the car.
