Hamilton handed 25 second penalty and Massa handed win.

http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/70401

"Lewis Hamilton has lost his victory at the Belgian Grand Prix after he was given a penalty for cutting a chicane when fighting with Kimi Raikkonen."

To be quite honest this is absolute rubbish, It was a fair fight, and Hamilton backed off down the straight. This will just encourage drivers to play conservative the rest of the season and not overtake.

F1 is becoming less attractive every race, with the clear bias the FIA has towards various teams/drivers.

WTF!? How can anyone honestly defend this or claim that there is no bias in the FIA!? Makes a mockery of the entire sport and frankly I wish that McLaren and Lewis withdrew from the championship in disgust.

Not even sure I want to continue watching the 'sport' any more.

It may be to do with the fact the Ferarri engine it a very midrangy engine, with all the torque distrubuted there. Where the Merc engine is a engine with the best torque distrubution there.

However, i feel that Ferarri have to get a few better engine maps for those conditions myself.

One thing im gonna say about that race is how much entertainment was in it, And altho with Hamilton being striped of the victory (deservidly i may add), it was a good drive by all drivers.

Up points for me:
* Bourdais soild drive
* Toro Rosso upstaging big sister
* The rain at the end
* Alonso & Renault getting some form
* Hamiltons stripping of the victory

Down Points:
* Hekki booting Webber
* Kimmi getting close with the wall
* Hamilton cutting the Bus Stop on the 3rd last lap
* The result being decided hours after the race

formula1.com even said this.. http://www.formula1.com/news/headlines/2008/9/8330.html

"Stewards at Spa are looking into an incident in the closing stages of the Belgian Grand Prix involving McLaren’s Lewis Hamilton, the eventual race winner, and Ferrari rival Kimi Raikkonen.

Battling for the lead as rain started to fall in the dying laps, Hamilton ran across the Bus Stop chicane as he attempted to pass Raikkonen. He correctly surrendered the position, but then dived past the Ferrari going into the La Source hairpin.

However, Raikkonen quickly retook the lead as Hamilton ran wide at Pouhon, only to then lose it for good as he spun into the wall and retirement, handing the British driver his fifth win of the season."

How the f**k can the FIA stewards penalise Hamilton??? WTF is the infringment?

One of the best races in years and it has to be decided off the track. Are the FIA TRYING to kill the sport?

I'm sure most of you know I'm not a fan of good old Lewis. Having not watched the race, being at work and all, and only followed live timing on F1Live at work I can say this is total and complete bullshit. Lewis deserved the victory no doubt. He earned it and the useless FIA with its' inconsistent rule penalties and Ferrari bias have given us all a reason to speak up and protest this. I don't know exactly how to do it, but I'm on board with with protesting to the FIA about this loss of a well deserved win for Lewis.

If I remember correctly Alonso in Suzuka 2005 cut the finale chicane, let Klein repass him, drafted past on the straight to the essess, and was told to let Klein back past twice. Or am I wrong? Or does that even have relevance here, I'm not sure exactly where Lewis repassed Kimi. I this comes down to confusion of exactly how long/how many corners have to go by before you can pass someone after forfeiting the position because you cut a chicane.

Basically Kimi and Lewis were side by side going into the bus stop, with Lewis on the outside. Kimi forced Lewis wide and down the escape road - somewhat harshly on Kimi's part but nothing really out of the ordinary. Lewis then let Kimi back past on the start finish straight before switching to the inside to take him under braking into the next corner.

McLaren even checked with Charlie Whiting as to whether he felt Lewis had conformed with the letter of the law, and he gave the opinion that he had.

Step in the (censored :)) at the FIA with their kangaroo court to royally screw up the worldwide perception of whether or not F1 is a sport or merely a publicity event for Ferrari. Complete farce.

I think Kimi should take some a little out of Shumacher's book when it comes to giving someone room:
