nice showing for the redbull family today too
should be an interesting race tomorrow
if of course its dry
Probably it is not wings but ride hight that matters. If RH is low aquaplaning of the plank may be expected.myurr wrote:As soon as there was any standing water, as there was in Q2, he was well off the pace. Could this be a factor of the amount of downforce he is running?
I think it was 2004 when Schumi went spinning in De La Roggia on 1st lap?bar555 wrote:Does anyone know when was the last wet Monza race

If RBR gets a better engine supplier, he may not need to change teams to fight for victories and championships.WhiteBlue wrote:Very interesting qualifying in the wet. It really looks like McLaren, Ferrari and BMW are on a totally dry setup. Theissen said that they expect only 40% rain probability tomorrow.
Berger said that they are prepared for a dry race which could mean that both Vettel and Bourdais could be in the high poionts. I'm surprised that Nico managed so well in the Williams. In free practise on Friday they were not fast. They could have a wet set up.
Vettel did a very solid job there in all three Qs. The guy is an asset for Red Bull and it hurts Toro Ross big time to loose him. He was over the moon when he came on the team radio. This must be the first ever pole position for the ex Minardi people in the team as well. For Vettel to become the youngest pole position holder ever in F1 bodes well for his future carreer. I hope to see him rise and sit in a BMW or Ferrari fighting for victories and championships in some years.
