Charles Leclerc looked set for his first ever victory in Formula One until an technical issue brought an end to that hope 10 laps from the end. He still limped to 3rd, completing the podium along the Mercedes drivers.

Leclerc is very quick. Vettel had the problem that in Q2 in his first run he ended up in traffic and had a big Lock up so he had to go out again and that meant he lost his second set of red tires for Q3. Actually, when I looked at the replays Grosjean was indeed in the way of Norris. Seems pretty similar to Vettel and Sainz in Austria last year. Sorry for arguing about it
Ric was better. He was on different tires most of the weekend and when it matters he pulls out the quick time. He always does that. I will go as far as to state it is a tactic of his, try to get into the mind of your teammate. It's awesome to see McLaren getting better in consistently in Q3.
It's a shame that Hulk couldn't get into Q2 and then in Q3. We couldn't see what that Renault could have done. He was definitely the better driver of the two from Renault team this weekend. Ric's struggles are quite strange.
