So the qualifying gap from Ferrari to Mercedes in Bahrain is almost exactly like last year three tenths.

Disgusting if you ask me. They're supposed to design and build their own car, it's specifically prohobited to just take design and/or parts from another team.. And Franz Tost I hear, has the guts to tell Cyril Abiteboul to shut up. What a wanker...

Hamilton could have jumped Vettel, but third is still good as he starts from the "clean" side.
Isn't it that "clean" sides are 2,4,6,8 etc?

Well one race while the car isn't at best behaviour.. Last race was more a tactical error from Red Bull themselfs. Give him some time..

Also Giovannazzi isn't great being 1 second slower than Kimi..

Does anybody know why Kvyat didn't have a 2nd run in Q2? He looked fast and could have been in Q3. Congrats to LeClerc, top performance. Something was wrong with Seb's car though, he seemed pretty cautious (maybe because it was his only run). Fingers crossed for an amazing race tomorrow.

Actually, when I looked at the replays Grosjean was indeed in the way of Norris. Seems pretty similar to Vettel and Sainz in Austria last year. Sorry for arguing about it :D

The situation between Red Bull and McLaren is crazy. Either Renault is better PU than Honda, which means RB chassis is ahead of McLaren OR Renault is on par with Honda, but McLaren is almost close to RB on chassis side. If Honda is better than Renault, then McLaren chassis is better than RB. If Renault PU is better than Honda, then McLaren is quite far behind RB on chassis.

It's awesome to see McLaren getting better in consistently in Q3.

It's a shame that Hulk couldn't get into Q2 and then in Q3. We couldn't see what that Renault could have done. He was definitely the better driver of the two from Renault team this weekend. Ric's struggles are quite strange.

Leclerc is very quick. Vettel had the problem that in Q2 in his first run he ended up in traffic and had a big Lock up so he had to go out again and that meant he lost his second set of red tires for Q3. So just one run in Q3 and then you have to be a bit more cautious as that lap then HAS to be it.

Ric was better. He was on different tires most of the weekend and when it matters he pulls out the quick time. He always does that. I will go as far as to state it is a tactic of his, try to get into the mind of your teammate. It certainly worked today, Hulk sounded broken.
