Yes. Exacly that thought made me wonder if their concept is still the way to go under these new FW rules and different tyres.

There overall concept was very good at utilising the outwash from the previous front wing rules and also the ability to blow the axles as well. All this seems to of effected the balance of their car quite a bit more than others.

Not particularly lining with this issue but Red Bull kind of was on the same situation on '17 season. They ended up being on par with Merc and even surpassed Ferrari at the end of the season. I kind think they'll unlock a lot after the summer break. However this much depends on Honda as well.

But I have no doubt they'll be near the top soon.

That's possible to change ride height with more or less steering angle? Or it's an optical/load effect

Quite common as the Steering rack is right in the middle of the car so the steering connecting rods have to be long and when turning, they are subject to some movement upwards or downwards when they move in or out. Where in the middle the steering rack is placed affects this movement(as in How High,low,forward or rearward from the Centerline of the front wheels).

*Lower is better as when turning it angles the car towards the corner, Minimising roll, but Mercedes figured out a extreme solution to fix their problem with that moving ball joint.

Why does it Look like that haven’t done a damn thing with the rear wing? Looks like a pre season test spec from the basic design #-o

And those FW differences are so miniscule that it probably makes no difference with either anyways...

Quite a few tweaks to the car. It doesn't look like it but they've actually done a lot of changes. Particularly the front wing, the Y250 area has been modified slightly at the main plane. Also the bargeboard edge has been contoured to flow with the side pod deflectors.
