it's interesting indeed - but I guess no team is able to run the normal configuration at these temperatures. So this number probably does not reflect the time loss compared to Ferrari, for example.
Out of nothing? Why didn't they react to that by bringing their wider engine cover outlet instead of the tightest? Makes a bit less sense, considering it's a flawless team like Mercedes.zibby43 wrote: ↑29 Jun 2019, 19:53Yeah, I think being able to draft the front row and have a chance to mix it up a bit in the first few corners helps cancel out the dirty side disadvantage. Plus the added benefit of being next to your teammate at the start.erudite450 wrote: ↑29 Jun 2019, 19:46Much better but some part of me feels starting from P5 on the clean side of the grid would have been better for him. Fingers crossed he gets a good start. If he could clear Bottas off the start, he and Verstappen could be on the back of Leclerc at some point if the soft tyres struggle in tomorrow's predicted heat.zibby43 wrote: ↑29 Jun 2019, 19:35Hamilton will start P4 now.
Back on for a spicy one.

Better still, an unexpected rain like on Thursday would spice it up even more!
Also of interesting note . . .
Cooling problems caused Mercedes to turn down their PUs, which cost them 6 tenths of a second in qualifying today.
Who knows. Was reported on by a tech journo that covers Ferrari for "FUnoAnalisiTecnica.com"LM10 wrote: ↑29 Jun 2019, 20:14Out of nothing? Yep. That's actually who the original source was quoting time loss to: Ferrari, specifically.
Interesting coming from the first member in thread to start the provocative posting. I'm so thoroughly enjoying watching some of the fans this season.
thanks, it is isn't it, minimum speed vs maximum, the whole lap. Then tomorrow it's race modes, fuel, tyres, cooling, and now hopefully Lewis not stuck behind LandoMtthsMlw wrote: ↑29 Jun 2019, 19:54The usual picture.
