Agreed, unfortunately hypocrisy only works in one direction and has a short memory.

Definitely!
"He turned in on me !"
I think this hammers the nail on the head. Clear cut penalty, the rule says you must leave a car's width.
Epic. Thank you for posting.
Anything else ferrari and red bull have done a bad job at? Then we can change the rules more to advantage them.....JordanMugen wrote: ↑30 Jun 2019, 17:59Definitely!
They want this tyre advantage over Mercedes at every race, not just when track temp is 55 deg C.
It's a glimpse of how it could be, if the tyres suited Ferrari and Red Bull better by being easier to warm up. [And conversely, Mercedes would overheat them with their chassis that is harder on tyres.]
Concurred. That wasn't the ending he, Leclerc, and the race deserved.flexcon wrote: ↑30 Jun 2019, 18:05Epic. Thank you for posting.
I'm a neutral and I find this a tough one to decide myself but that video certainly helps in suggesting that Max did barge through there.
And What's so annoying is I really think he could have done it cleanly. Man even if he just gave another few cm so there was 'Just" a car gap there then it would have been Magic.
I'm disappointed Max took the "Magic" out of his run with this messy ending.
Great Race
Actually, I think you should watch the steering movement closer. Max was pretty smooth and it looks more like Charles is the one who made the aggressive movements.Shrieker wrote: ↑30 Jun 2019, 18:03Yes Max, he turned in on you, and when he saw you there, straightened out his wheel to avoid contact. And then you proceeded to be a merciless ...tard and gave him no space; in fact a little 'nudge' to throw him out of the track. If this was done to you, you would be hounding them in the pit lane, confronting them to try punch them in the face or something
The heli cam is very telling. Lec turns in and then clearly backs off to avoid contact, while Max just cuts him off despite having all the space in the world on the inside.dans79 wrote: ↑30 Jun 2019, 18:07Actually, I think you should watch the steering movement closer. Telemetry will be looked at for sure by the stewardsShrieker wrote: ↑30 Jun 2019, 18:11The heli cam is very telling. Max was pretty smooth on deliberately missing the apex, run wide and then slowly calculates his steering movement so that Lec was forced off track. Lec was of the opinion that he'd get at least the most outside of the track as the rules say. You hava to leava da space.dans79 wrote: ↑30 Jun 2019, 18:07Actually, I think you should watch the steering movement closer. Yet the stewards have been ignoring that for years on the exit of the turn when the inside car is even a little ahead.Moanlower wrote: ↑30 Jun 2019, 18:20Max was pretty smooth on deliberately missing the apex, run wide and then slowly calculates his steering movement so that Lec was forced off track.
