For ease of use, there is one thread per grand prix where you can discuss everything during that specific GP weekend. You can find these threads here.

As long as the stewards remain consistent in similar circumstances
Can someone explain me the consistence between Canada, Francia and Austria, please?
All different rulesets. Canada = rejoining the track in an unsafe manner. France = Outside of track. Austria = pushing outside of track. France was clear cut, the other ones the stewards had to interpret the rules and then make a ruling

Edit: Anyway, now when that incident is over. What about GAS? Thats quite a big way back in the same car even though it can be explain by other factors than the driver only but still

So how many seconds will Verstappen get penalized for?
You get ten seconds for provoking.

No penalty!!! I strongly disagree, but hey, it is s sport! (No, it is a show! I know, shut up!!!)
Sports have referees: No referees -> No sport.
And their decisions will never please everyone, nor can they always be right, often, it can't it be known if they are right or not.

But ugh! :(

I think all of us (here at least?) are for more battling on the edge. Problem with that is consistency. That is, I think, why we have been getting more and more strict the last years. Today might be a turn around on that? I hope so, but that means the stewards will have an even more tough job on their hands.

My take, Max did make sure not too leave room. He could have been penalized. Reason it did not happen? Charles intended for this action as Max was closing in too fast. He played the punishment game. I think that is why they let it slide. Pure speculation though.

Regardless of the penalty... Finally a race that isn’t dominated by Mercedes... What seemed like a clean sweep this season is now not achievable.

At least Mercedes finished the Grand Prix this year, no clean sweep because of the weather... But joking aside hats off to red bull, max and Ferrari, on to the next.....

In all fairness, Mercedes clearly saved their engine here. They will finish the season on 3 units. That alone gives them more free points then winning here.

Allthough, the gap was big. Lewis broke his wing and possibly Floor as well? Even after the FW change the pace was not really there.

this is why rosberg said that you can obviously do what ever you want when you're inside, until they slapped him with a penalty.
it really isn't about what's been done, but rather who did it.

Glad that Leclerc doesn't have to remember his first GP win as something awarded by the stewards three hours after the race ended.

This! In hindsight when Leclerc wins his first race and we all know he will, he will be glad it will be in a non disputable way (I hope).

Yes. And, it must be said, why the heck was he on red tires at the start. I already questioned it here yesterday. This track, with this heat, for a one stopper you need harder tires. Just like last year already showed.

Any explanation from mercedes for their poor pace?
It seems redbull have honed in on their tyre preservation abilities from the second half of 2018. I still feel max now has a fighting chance at the title. Mercedes must capitalize now on racking up as much wins.
Ferrari will get their chance to win surely this year.
For Sure!!

I think he broke something else and they thought it was the wing, but they were wrong. He was really slow after the pit.
Did they show any damage at all on the wing? What did Mercedes say? I guess they'll put it up in their Youtube account tomorrow.
