In regards to the DNF’s, that’s absolutely true...
Although, with the exception of Carlos’ issue in Australia, I don’t think the team has had reliability issues per se... Now, if you change the engine every 2-3 races, the probability of having a DNF is reduced.
The mistake that everyone seems to make is to try and validate the engine “power” based on “race results”.

A couple come to mind.
Canada - burning suspension
France - hydraulic pressure loss
Austria - broken wing (more so user error)
Without these the results definitely would look more impressive.
Both Canada and Austria can hardly be called reliability issues. In Canada something probably got ingested into the cooling duct (debris) which caused it to overheat, while in Austria it was damage.
After a detailed investigation, the team has concluded that high brake temperatures ultimately triggered the fire that created the suspension breakage.
"We had high temperatures in the brakes," a team spokesman told Motorsport.com. "That caused a
component failure, which basically created a localized fire.
"Because it was in an area where there isn't any air flow, it didn't get extinguished, and basically we exceeded the temperatures that carbon can withstand, and effectively that led to the suspension giving way.
