I think Max had shown his intention to keep the inside line. There was an acre of space to the right that Seb should have used - like Leclerc did earlier in the race

Some corners are "allowed" to off-track-overtaking. Stowe is one, T3 in Bahrain is another. FIA is just following the hype created by the media from the beginning, they desperately need a rising star to carry the show, basically every sport is affected by this media crap nowdays, popularity=money and money rules the world, and Max is exploiting that to the fullest

Atleast he is not pushing drivers out to gain position with wheel banging and leaving track to gain advantage.
