Max does a subtle late block in the braking area, closes off what was a clear line, causes a collision, and the stewards are oblivious, again
I think Max had shown his intention to keep the inside line. There was an acre of space to the right that Seb should have used - like Leclerc did earlier in the race  . No penalty for me on this one. Gaining advantage off track? That's where the issue is for me.

What sarcasm?
Ves left the track with all 4 wheels while overtaking Vettel, before the crash
Some corners are "allowed" to off-track-overtaking. Stowe is one, T3 in Bahrain is another. Quite a few overtakes at Bahrain T3 this year happened like that.

Basically at these corners you can go off track doing a qualifying lap. Remember Luffield last year?

Jordan said Vettel and Hamilton are going to be swapping teams for 2021... he needs to be retired off.

It is funny to see how the response to this situation puts the opinion of some people regarding situations involving Max in perspective (especially the one with Leclerc). It has nothing to do with judging a situation but all with a grudge against Max. Very sad.

Max was way off line and hit the brakes way too early. There was no way he could make the chicane. Of course the driver from behind will get the penalty.

Vettel is such a disgrace
Ves is a saint?....complete your feelings
...
Why does it matter? Do we have to include others mistakes everytime?
Neither of the current grid are saints

Completely agree. Verstappen was way too slow trying to close the room and Vettel had nowhere to go. FIA stewards are clearly creating a demon who has no regards for the rules.
FIA is just following the hype created by the media from the beginning, they desperately need a rising star to carry the show, basically every sport is affected by this media crap nowdays, popularity=money and money rules the world, and Max is exploiting that to the fullest

So after Lerlec's driver of the day vote, does that mean he is now the best driver in the world right now?

He would only go there if he'd secured his 7th title. The chance of a title with Ferrari would be tempting. Why Mercedes would want Vettel instead is anyone's guess.

So in Stowe you can go beyond white line with all 4 wheels?
I wasn't aware of that.

Thank you for your input

Atleast he is not pushing drivers out to gain position with wheel banging and leaving track to gain advantage. That should certainly make him "best driver in the world" on relative terms.
