I assume these adjustable vents are within some sort of cockpit-area exclusion zone. Otherwise we'd probably see more pit-stop-editable bodywork. The FW has an allowance for adjustment, but I believe all other bodywork within relevant legality boxes must not move nor alter during a race.

I think they are also allowed to open up brake ducts (usually taped over).

Parc-ferme ends when the race starts so they can adjust/change what they like (providing its legal obviously), its just a matter of time it would take to do it which would actually be the restricting factor.

Although I suppose if you were putting them on rather than taking them off there'd be some people straight there with the scales to check what they weighed

Using Blaze1's star counting method, and assuming the livery is a reliable datum, I count six stars on on the flat vertical area of the shark fin of 77, and five on 44. Demarcated below, second image.

The liveries are not exactly the same as it is impossible to make it the same as it is a vinyl not a paint and people puting it on with their hands.
The 2 engine covers are exactly the same.

Sorry, but nobody took a spy camera to the Merc factory. As you may know by now, there is no GP this weekend.

They put stickers over your phone cameras as you go into the factory, and even then you can't really see much in the way of parts.
