The radiator on top starts further in front now, maybe to slim down others to achieve a tighter engine cover.
Great photo comparison.MtthsMlw wrote: ↑24 Jul 2019, 20:17Old:

Yes I think you are right... 10 kg balast in the front wing / nose was more common in mid 2000-s when cars used more than 50 kg of total balast if not more. But today 10 kg is probably way to much balast in the front wing, especialy when weight distribution window is so narrow.
It might also be the maximum amount of weight it is rated to carry.CLKGTR wrote: ↑25 Jul 2019, 00:40Yes I think you are right... 10 kg balast in the front wing / nose was more common in mid 2000-s when cars used more than 50 kg of total balast if not more. Its painting related normally 2 stickers one pre and one post paint process showing weights of completed components, nothing to do with ballast weights just as simple as painted weight.
Nice update on the chassis side bringing better packaging to the car, providing a more Central weight distribution(Lower centre of gravity and corner weight distribution under load(Cornering, braking, accleratin etc..). This basically provided a wider set-up window allowing for the car to be more aggressively set-up for one-lap pace, while retaining similar characteristics to the previous design in the race. Small noticeable problems probably the big one being that the side-pod flow conditioner and the turning vanes probably need changing to eliminate any flow attachment issues the new shape has. Cooling seems to be rather aggressive considering the current Heatwave but radar says it will be cooler in the weekend, but you never know.Sevach wrote: ↑25 Jul 2019, 16:54https://pbs.twimg.com/media/EAU_fpIWsAA ... ame=medium
Red Bull like.
By eye, using known FW and nose dimensions, a 15 x 4 x 2 cm block (120cc) may fit in there. 120 cc × tungsten density 19.25g/cc gives 2310 g or 5 lbs. If the pressure taps were removed, the full pocket might allow a block 25 x 4 x 2, weighing 3850g, or 8.5 lbs.
