wrong, Vettel was faster as Hamilton (slightly) but Hamilton was faster as Leclerc (minimal)

Kvyat will be great.Capharol wrote: ↑26 Jul 2019, 17:29as much as i ike the idea..... with whom shall they replace him? kvyat? don't think so, because kvyat is not and will not be ready for RB ever in his life, to much pressure he can't handle and we will see the Torpedo back
Albon? to fresh, no experience ....to soon (as it is for gasly)
so whom shall be sitting in the 2nd RB?
no it won't be... Would that be the same Canada where Hamilton was shoved so far up Vettel’s backside that Vettel felt uncomfortable and had to wriggle and went totally off track and cocked up? That Canada?
Doesnt make his point less valid. He didnt say its a walk in the park because of the W10, he said every race is a walk in the park for Merc.
They were crushed in Bahrain. I'm not sure how you can describe that race as 'a walk in the park'.
Button is not a good wet driver. Neither is alonso. What button did was to know when to change between an intermediate and slick tyre. If on the same tyres with hamilton or any other car of similar ability he was beaten. Button was very observant and patient letting the race come to him. Maybe a skill he developed from his triathalons. But by no means a good wet driver. You can check the hilight reels. As for alonso, no long explanation needed. He is not good at all in the wet. 60% of the time he will spin on a curb or fall off track. Max is better in the wet than two above. Bottas is in fact better in the wet than all these 3. Watch his wer races to appreciate that he has very good car control in slippery conditions.Pyrone89 wrote: ↑25 Jul 2019, 23:55Nothimg apart from them being less talented than those drivers. But the point is there are a number of drivers more talented than Bottas and Rosberg in the wet and those drivers could have had the same record if in Hamilton’s position, making it not some godlike achievement it is made out to be here.ENGINE TUNER wrote: ↑25 Jul 2019, 23:41So what stopped his teammate from accumulating a similarly impressive record?Sieper wrote: ↑25 Jul 2019, 19:17
Yes he is a great driver, as is (amongst many other feats) proven by his record against any opponent he went against in the same car. But merc has had a big power advantage since 2014 which they always used for driving with more downforce. That’s a big advantage to have in the rain.
In fact I think the following recent drivers would 100% have the exact same wet record as Hamilton’s Merc wet record when in his position:
1. Verstappen
2. Alonso
3. Button
Not to mention the number of drivers that are likely to be better in the wet than Rosberg and Bottas yet may have lost 1 or 2 at most (Vettel, Kimi, Ricciardo etc)
I am gonna exclude Norris and Russell because they have yet too prove themselves.
Not if he gets a good result here. I think the crash was good for him to find the limits and push hard like max does naturally.selvam_e2002 wrote: ↑26 Jul 2019, 16:33not good for Gasly. He will not be racing RB next year. They will replace him.
