Well done Merc, they were better on strategy today
True GOATs don’t need the help of superior material to win.

Tom Brady, Usain Bolt are true GOATs.

Nice roll of the die. Mercedes hoping Max will be out of tyres at the end...

And an other disastrous stop from Ferrari...
There can’t be a weekend for Ferrari without any mistakes or issues.
Looks like it. But seriously, they have to look into their staff. There was hardly one weekend where they didn't totaly screwed up the strategy or some pitstops. You can lose championships if such things happen again and again.

Verstappen looking 0.4s per lap

Max effectively has to back off and preserve his tyres and hope Lewis can't do it.

Hard tyres will be fine for Max but I like that Mercedes tried something different because he was not getting by on a track like this.

Aggressive from Mercedes but they needed to do something and TBH if it doesn’t work then he finishes 2nd anyway.

I assume the logic is that Mercedes probably will not have passed Verstappen like this on track - the advantage of the tire was already gone. By pitting him again, they at least gave themselves a shot, in case Max can't sustain his pace on the hards till the end. Personally, I think Verstappen will win this.
Not for nothing, Rosberg's Championship is the only thing that lends credibility to Hamilton's recent success. Otherwise, he'd just be the guy who's had the best car. — bhall II

Well, doesn't looks at the moment like the mediums are enough of an advantage to get Verstappen

Verstappen cannot manage the Hamilton pressure cooker. He isn't ready. mental breakdown inching in. I expect a lock up or slide soon.
These kind of comments are delusional

I think Hamilton would have had more chance staying on Max's tail and pressuring him directly.

4 cars on the same lap and with a minimum of 10 seconds gap. Top two gap has stabilised.
