Lewis Hamilton emerged victorious in the 34th Hungarian Grand Prix, winning a thrilling battle with Max Verstappen in a race where strategy decided the final outcome. Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel completed the Hungaroring podium.
There can’t be a weekend for Ferrari without any mistakes or issues.
Looks like it. But seriously, they have to look into their staff. There was hardly one weekend where they didn't totaly screwed up the strategy or some pitstops. You can lose championships if such things happen again and again.
I assume the logic is that Mercedes probably will not have passed Verstappen like this on track - the advantage of the tire was already gone. By pitting him again, they at least gave themselves a shot, in case Max can't sustain his pace on the hards till the end. Personally, I think Verstappen will win this.
Not for nothing, Rosberg's Championship is the only thing that lends credibility to Hamilton's recent success. Otherwise, he'd just be the guy who's had the best car. — bhall II #Team44 supporter
