In 2018 Q2 was 1:41.5 so it doesn't look like a rocketship. Albon is doing OK so far considering it is his first time driving the RB-15.

where does it say Kimi did something stupid?
in the article its saying he has stomage problems, and maybe because of that the mediabreakfast, scheduled for 8.30 is cancelled aswell.

and some on Twitter already told Ericsson is not driving
Thats because they edited their article! It was really there, unfortunatly diddnt make a screenshot ;)
EDIT: You should read the comments, I guess you are a Dutchie so that wouldn't be a problem!
you were correct, just saw a headline where they talked that Kimi pulled a muscle
Alfa Romeo has confirmed that Kimi Raikkonen will take part Friday practice ahead of Sunday's Belgian Grand Prix, after he pulled a muscle during the summer break.
and yes i am a Dutchie but a neutral one 🤣
Also read the article earlier this week and can confirm they did say Kimi did something "stupid".

Stoffel?

EDIT: giving up on editing the picture into the post. Wish we can do something to make inserting images easier...
EDIT 2: Finally worked, not sure why it didn't want to work initially. :?:

Unless the gap from medium to soft is over 1.3 seconds....

Ferrari brought a rocketship, 1:44 was pole in 2017, and this is just FP1.

I know it'll be closer in qualifying, but damn that's fast. Will be interesting to see their long runs in FP2.
doesnt really mean anything. pretty similar to last year.

Looks like it's gonna be quite hard for 2019 Q3 to beat 2018 Q2. The 2019 rear wings are really hammering the cars on tracks with a lot of straights.

Race pace is atrocious, they can't even sustain 49's. I was almost sure they'd start on 49's and end on 47's.

Must be more to come from Merc if they’re only 1 tenth ahead of the Racing Point in FP2.

That but I am surprised to see Lance Stroll so far up the order. JPM's mentoring is helping! Good for him! That said I can't conceal my jealousy and wish my dad had billions and spent it on me to skip school and go racing instead!

I'm not sure if that is sarcastic or not in FP2 he's over 6/10ths down on Perez,.

Actually the race pace of RP is up there with the top teams so who knows they might be suited to this track. Expect a Checho podium.

What happens to the PU allocation numbers for a driver when they change team mid season like Albon just did? I'd have to assume that the PU allotment is really for the car not the driver.

PU allocation is tied to the car, not driver... Therefore Albon is in 4th unit, while Gasly is in his 5th

underwhelming friday. slow cars, no one really going for it.. hopefully everyone picks up the pace tommorow for fp3 already so we can get a bit clearer picture

leclerc's p1 lap from fp2. car simply isnt settled, but same could be said for pretty much everyone. Im not quite sure what's going on.
