FP2: Ferrari still ahead as Leclerc goes fastest
Ferrari continued to enjoy a sizable advantage during the second practice session at Spa-Francorchamps, though this time it was Charles Leclerc who emerged fastest, ahead of team mate Sebastian Vettel.
It wouldn't be exaggerating to say that Leclerc dominated the session, as after completing 28 laps, he proved to be 0.630s faster than his teammate, and another two tenths extra on the Mercedes duo who ended up in third and fourth.
The surprise fifth in FP2 was Sergio Perez, who has already enjoyed considerable success at previous races in Spa. The Mexican put his Racing Point RP19 ahead of Verstappen and Raikkonen, as well as team mate Lance Stroll, who had had the upper hand in the morning session.
Daniel Ricciardo was once again the fastest Renault driver in 9th, followed by Albon who ensured both Red Bull RB15 s to be in the top 10.
