Ferrari should try a straight line speed record with no wings on. I think Honda did something like that back in 2006.

Did well to make sure the rear didn't touch the barrier, if its just the front left then he will be ok for qualifying but its looking like a Ferrari lockout regardless.

It's just a front corner, bargeboard and nose, no problem :)

150 min for repairs. Could work imo.
Finishing races is important, but racing is more important.

How bad is the damage on Hamiltons car? Just read it on the autosport ticker...
Not for nothing, Rosberg's Championship is the only thing that lends credibility to Hamilton's recent success. Otherwise, he'd just be the guy who's had the best car. — bhall II

Interesting. They might even have trouble beating 2017 pole laptime today. Something is not right.

Significantly higher drag at least for Mercedes and Red Bull

Looks like it's gonna be quite hard for 2019 Q3 to beat 2018 Q2. The 2019 rear wings are really hammering the cars on tracks with a lot of straights.
Q3 2019 won't beat Q2 2018 because C3 has bad strategy tyre and is less grip than supersoft/ultra in 2018 (= C4 (2019))

No seriously, they'll have a corner built up all ready, with brake and everything, in a cupboard. The bargeboard is bolt-on with maybe a blob of araldite rapid. As long as it didn't pull any mounts out of the tub they'll be good.

1. Regarding Lewis` crash, Crofty just confirmed on Sky after FP3 that his car didn`t need a new chassis.
Car parts that are needed to be changed are front suspension, floor, bargeboards and ICE body cover

2. RP is looking so strong due to running in almost the highest PU modes coz I don`t think their upgraded package could give them such a speed advantage just to sit back 0.5 sec behind Lewis in FP2 ... hence as zibby43 said before me, Merc usually tends to run the lower modes in free practice but most of all when they bring a new spec PU in ...

3. RP CEO Otmar H. said on Sky, prior starting FP3, that the new spec Merc PU is worth almost 2 tenths ... put this in retrospective with what Lewis said and we could see that Otmar was speaking about race pace and Lewis was talking about Q3 PU mode ...
