BOT screwed now.
Finishing races is important, but racing is more important.

Hamilton guaranteed to make another stop by Bottas' engineer.
I say the engineer's full of crap.

Exactly.
Hamilton’s answer would be that the team originally put him in a 1 stopper. He stopped once.

Just listening to Max. Speaking sense about the stewards in this race.

Don’t think Merc are bringing Hamilton in again because of Vettel. This could all be very harsh on poor Bottas here.

I think there is an argument both ways TBH. Hamilton was hung out to dry losing seconds of time trying to get him on a 1 stop.

The only reason I can see for Lewis to stop is because Mercedes didn't wanna screw Vallteri over. Why they'd risk losing second is beyond me.

Very strange how Mercedes have handled this. Lost a nailed on second place?

1. Jump start: My only explanation why Vettel didn’t get a penalty is that he stopped for a split second after the jump start, thus even losing place to Bottas. Other than that, the rules should be clear.

2. Incident between Max and Leclerc: It was a racing incident as far as I could see. First lap, cold tyres and losing downforce behind other cars. Charles simply understeered into Max. An onboard video would show more details.

3. Leclerc’s front wing damage: Stewards definitely should have warned. It’s a no-go to continue with parts about to fall off. It destroyed Hamilton’s mirror, but could have hit his head too.

I know driver of the day is a joke but are the general viewing public really stupid enough to put Leclerc second in the poll?

Mercedes idiotic strategy team strikes again by the look of it. Thrown away a nailed on second place.

Mercedes threw away a 1-2 such a dumb strategy, they're P3 if they pit, they're P3 in the worst case scenario if they stay out, so just stay out and you might finish P1 or P2.

How have Mercedes not learned this lesson? Being behind a Ferrari even with DRS means you stay stuck behind that Ferrari!
