Like I said, the only explanation is that they didn't want to screw over Bottas.

Also, that tyre life graphic is a "yoke".

Hamilton will be furious if he doesn’t get past, and rightly so.

If Mercedes have given up a 1-2 just to massage one of their drivers ego than somebody wants shooting.

Mercedes win their 6th straight Constructors' Championship.

And Hamilton ends up with the fastest lap.

Bottas gifted a win there by Mercedes.

Hamilton could have easily got to the end on those mediums.

I'm glad Hamilton was 3rd though as that is punishment for Mercedes as they expected to do a 1-2 with Hamilton artificially 2nd.

After today, it is guaranteed that only a Mercedes driver will win the Drivers' Championship this year.

So it'll be 6 straight "Doubles" for Mercedes.

That's crazy, but that was a strategy shitshow by the winning team, i never thought i would say that.
They screwed a perfectly good 1-2 by matching Ferrari's strategy.

Ferrari probably needed to stop twice(i don't agree with the middle stint on softs), but Mercedes clearly didn't, with neither car honestly.

You can tell that Toto Wolff knows how peed off Hamilton is by how quickly he jumped on the radio reminding him about the WCC win.

Just listening to Max. Speaking sense about the stewards in this race.

Don’t think Merc are bringing Hamilton in again because of Vettel. This could all be very harsh on poor Bottas here.
Happy for Bothas, no more hold position please from Toto😀

Mercedes need to stop this business of trying to help Bottas at the expense of Hamilton. It will ruin them next season if the Ferrari is as fast as it is right now relative to them.

Understandable that Lewis would be angry, but Bottas had a great start, drove a flawless race, and had a certain victory taken from him in Sochi last year.

But from the get go, the strategy was split and Lewis held on to that, until the team changed it! Like they screwed him in Austria 2016. If it was one stop for Lewis and two stop for Bottas, they should have stuck with it. Worse case, Lewis would have still finished 2nd.

Mercedes strategy team are simply awful. When they don’t have the luxury of the fastest car to cover their mistakes and indecision it all turns into a shambles.

Hamilton shouldn’t have any hard feelings toward Bottas but he can rightly be angry with the team.
