The flag he could see was 100m before Bottas so he would have gone 20kp/h slower. But the attitude of not slowing when yellow is wrong unfortunately

Just remember Hungary 2016 ... Rosberg got pole with a purple last sector despite double waved yellows, back then he lifted a tiny bit and the FIA deemed that to be perfectly fine, so you can get pole, you can get purple, all you need to do is lift for a split second...

The funny thing is Bottas would have likely been challenging for pole had he not crashed, him and Hamilton were basically neck and neck after the second sector when Lewis went purple.
