There isn't even an investigation. FIA finding a new low every race weekend. Great.
Well they are obviously looking into it. Also the qualifying results they posted on Twitter are mentioned as "provisional" and no, that is not standard procedure.

Can't talk his move right, but as a Dutchie I hope they just take the lap. I understand tough it's an attitude problem, but if he lifted it wouldn't have been considerably more safe I suppose. The flag he could see was 100m before Bottas so he would have gone 20kp/h slower. But the attitude of not slowing when yellow is wrong unfortunately

Just remember Hungary 2016 ... Rosberg got pole with a purple last sector despite double waved yellows, back then he lifted a tiny bit and the FIA deemed that to be perfectly fine, so you can get pole, you can get purple, all you need to do is lift for a split second...

The funny thing is Bottas would have likely been challenging for pole had he not crashed, him and Hamilton were basically neck and neck after the second sector when Lewis went purple.

Must be a joke. Do we need another death in F1?

Finishing races is important, but racing is more important.

Not on the track. He was the last over the line. Vettel ahead of him slowed at yellow.

He was slower than this personal best in that last minisector, F1 livetiming app doesn't show him lifting.

Pathetic, he could have been 0.01 slower and that's deemed to be safe......

Verstappen in the PC, asked by
@EdmondsonESPNF1
if he saw VB had crashed: "I was aware Valtteri crashed" Q: Did you back off? "It didn't really look like it did it? No."
Max asked again on the yellow flag, from a safety perspective, "I think we know what we are doing. Otherwise we wouldn’t be driving an F1 car. It’s qualifying, you go for it, but like I said before if they want to delete the lap then delete the lap."
Yeah you know what you're doing for sure...that's why Bianchi and Hubert are dead now...!

What an idiot...this kind of language should get him a DSQ! But since Charlie died F1 is nowhere in terms of understanding what's wrong in some situations like this one today!

So when they judge, marshals do not control the gas pedal position telemetry and what the pilot himself said in TV ?
