One word, tires!
One word, tires!
According to me the pretty green track has given some more advantage to high downforce cars instead of low drag ones.
I was surprised on how close it was at the end and that it was not a Ferrari being on pole, as well. Tires might be one explanation, but it was a strong performance from RBR regardless. They love this circuit and have always been fast here.
Couldn’t agree more... Pretty bad attitude towards the incident... There is an expectation to at least use common sense.LM10 wrote:Verstappen's attitude makes him the most arrogant and unlikeable driver on the grid. That's my opinion, at least.
No one tells him not to be an aggressive driver, but seeing such a big collision on the side and yellow flags, but still not slowing down AND talking crap after the session, is not really gentleman-like.
This wasn’t “hard racing”, this was a disregard of the rules, the safety of a fellow driver and of the road individuals at the track assisting that driver...Wynters wrote:As an aside...

I'm sure Bottas thought the same thing up until his front left wheel exited the track solo. Same with all the drivers who kept their foot down until they ploughed into another car. It's not his fault though. It's the culture the sport is encouraging. The more the Stewards actively encourage 'good, hard racing' the more this will happen.

and if you understood more about body language, you would know that he talked without thinking and felt he couldn't answer the question any differently and the laugh is not ment humorous but more shy like "i am aware and i am sorry about it"Dipesh1995 wrote: ↑27 Oct 2019, 00:02https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=izaqAhbg-wUSmallSoldier wrote: ↑26 Oct 2019, 23:57Couldn’t agree more... The fact that he finds it humorous shows he doesn’t really understand the seriousness of the incident.
More like, the circuit's terrible barrier design with a sudden break jutting out in the middle of an otherwise smooth curve destroyed the car. Thank God they've invested a lot in the survival structure otherwise the sensors would've been the least of everyone's concerns.
as far as i know drivers are to rely on the signal given on the steeringwheelSierra117 wrote: ↑27 Oct 2019, 00:11More like, the circuit's terrible barrier design with a sudden break jutting out in the middle of an otherwise smooth curve destroyed the car. If that's the case, why do marshals have flags? if they mean nothing. Surely that can't be right.Capharol wrote: ↑27 Oct 2019, 00:15as far as i know drivers are to rely on the signal given on the steeringwheelSierra117 wrote: ↑27 Oct 2019, 00:11More like, the circuit's terrible barrier design with a sudden break jutting out in the middle of an otherwise smooth curve destroyed the car. Don't forget yellow flag sensor tolerances!
