I don't know if you've heard but they've openly stated what their problem was last season. It was the distance between the front wheels and floor edge + front of the sidepod.

In yaw they were getting dirty air interfering with their floor and around the sidepod. This was causing rear instability and downforce loss mid corner.

They have evidently increased that space and distance by a fair margin for this season. It's not down to one small detail piece like you claim.

Quote of that? From seen on the image there doesn't seem to be a lot of difference in this distance.

I’m not sure I hate it, but they will definitely take some getting used to.

It’s worth remembering that next year they will have completely closed wheel hub covers, so will look different again

This is the first time I have read that 2020 wheels will have covers. Where did you get this info from?

It's not 2020, the new regulations are for 2021
