Haha, just like Monza. If the front Ferrari got a move on and passed some cars, It wouldnt have happened.
Yup, the recent technical directive has really slowed them down!!!NathanOlder wrote: ↑30 Nov 2019, 15:57So how do Ferrari get pole and win in Singapore, which is a whole lap like sector 3 in Abu Dhabi
And in S3 here, they are losing 6 tenths!
It's not because of the corner types. Here they just overheat the tyres in the first 2 sectors and then don't have grip for S3 anymore.NathanOlder wrote: ↑30 Nov 2019, 15:57So how do Ferrari get pole and win in Singapore, which is a whole lap like sector 3 in Abu Dhabi

Your comparing a Pre USA car (Singapore winner) to the current car. We know what is differentNathanOlder wrote: ↑30 Nov 2019, 15:57So how do Ferrari get pole and win in Singapore, which is a whole lap like sector 3 in Abu Dhabi

So the directives made Ferrari lose time in the corners? Makes sense.siskue2005 wrote: ↑30 Nov 2019, 16:04Yup, the recent technical directive has really slowed them down!!!NathanOlder wrote: ↑30 Nov 2019, 15:57So how do Ferrari get pole and win in Singapore, which is a whole lap like sector 3 in Abu Dhabi

after all such tricks wont last forever
and why exactly are they overheating the tyres?? lack of downforce?LM10 wrote: ↑30 Nov 2019, 16:05It's not because of the corner types. On the long straight they were 5 km/h faster than Redbull and 7 km/h faster than Mercedes today.
Yes it makes sense, as they have lost power they are not able to pile on downforce and compensate for it! makes sense now? They were just 0.073 faster in the sector 2 which had the longest straights.LM10 wrote: ↑30 Nov 2019, 16:07So the directives made Ferrari lose time in the corners? I thought tyres cool off on the big straights ?????? S2 is perfect to cool the tyres off surelyLM10 wrote: ↑30 Nov 2019, 16:05It's not because of the corner types.
