Another, since they are leveling the dune, on the T11- T12 back straight.

They are moving Hugenholtz inside, for the banking itself and to make space in the paddock,
not sure, whether there is enough space for the stands.

Another group of stands is supposed to be in the inner track area opposite T13 and towards T14.

Kind of like situation before the banking of the Luyendijk and Hugenholtz were revealed.

I don´t think that´s a good idea. Cars will corner at a very high speed there, so a big runoff area is mandatory. The stand would need to be far away, or it would be dangerous

That´s assuming the runoff area will continue the banking angle so any car going out of the corner will not jump. Otherwise it will be very dangerous

But Lammers is not expecting any such repeat [as in 2005 Indianapolis Motor Speedway] when F1 returns to Zandvoort with Pirelli rubber in 2020.

“I don't expect any issues with the tyres,” he said. “There are two reasons for that. First of all, the corner in Indianapolis is way longer than this one. So the overall tyre load was much heavier there.

"And second, the corners in Indianapolis have some kind of linear banking. Over here we have a progressive banking, almost comparable to a bobsleigh track.

“We talked to Pirelli as well. Basically from the first moment we thought of creating a banked corner in Zandvoort. We speak to them on a daily basis and share all the updates and information we have.”

They are very lucky with the mild weather.
Normally it is much colder now and it can start freezing.
They work with at least 100 people a day from Volker Wessels,
to get the "small adjustments" :D to the circuit ready in time.

It does seem a bit like a race against the clock right! These are no small changes by any stretch of imagination. Many corners overhauled, track widened, access tunnels under the track, resculpting the entire area. We indeed are lucky with this weather, it is not cold at all.

Then next year new grandstands and paddock?

Since the first visit to track by Formula One Management in 2017, followed up by a visit of the late Charlie Whiting in 2018 who said the track has a good shape and would be a perfect fit for F1, a lot has changed. From lawsuits about the impact on the surrounding nature, till the mobility plan and concerns about the Pirelli tires in banked corners. It seems the organizers of the Dutch GP have thought about every aspect in advance in supreme detail, hence the preparations already starting 5(!) years ago. And they made this business case work without any direct government funding.

At least they're taking it seriously. I was sceptical at first will all the lawsuits if the entire thing would be cancelled, but it seems they've taken care of everything, even without public funding.

Looking at this article, the following caught my eye:
The Dutch equivalent of ‘Eau Rouge, called the ‘Scheivlak’, will still be surrounded by gravel. If you make a mistake there, you’re lost.

First they said that only a few small adjustments were needed, but a lot had to be done.
They are indeed doing it thoroughly now! They leave nothing to chance.

Mammoet cranes are now being used for the renovation of the track, but when the track is open it will be used for the removal and lifting of heavy objects (race cars) as official event supplier of the DutchGP.
