Could you please care to elaborate on the observations you've made, and the hypothesis you are testing?godlameroso wrote: ↑19 Feb 2020, 14:02By using science. Observing comparing and contrasting. Sainz has plenty of speed in S1 and S2 to tap into. I'm sure Renault is the same.
Turns 4, 5, 10, 11 - end of lap. Both cars are very similar, they are taking the same lines, and accounting for fuel and tires used I see very little difference. The rest of the field is harder to read, but McLaren and Renault stood out for me right away.martinbeiker wrote: ↑19 Feb 2020, 15:16Could you please care to elaborate on the observations you've made, and the hypothesis you are testing?godlameroso wrote: ↑19 Feb 2020, 14:02By using science. that was in the 2 test i think when they did thatFittingMechanics wrote: ↑19 Feb 2020, 15:55Sainz on a race sim probably, using C1. This is very similar to programme McLaren ran last year, few fast laps with cooldown and then a 8-10 stint in the morning. In the afternoon a race sim of 15-20 lap stints with pitstops in between and about 1 hour before the end they switch to a couple of fast qualy runs.
Those are the best news of the day... It seems that the car isn’t suffering from any nagging issues and it’s capable of pulling an important amount of laps... It should also be important for the team to move the program forward as much as they canXero wrote:Good afternoon so far. Sainz already on 112 laps, just 11 behind RB and 9 behind Merc. Racking them up nicely!
25 mins later and Sainz now leads the lap count on 131, to RB and Merc both on 130.SmallSoldier wrote: ↑19 Feb 2020, 17:08Those are the best news of the day... 133 laps on the board... Wonder if this is getting close to the most amount of laps the team have done in testing since 2015?SmallSoldier wrote:Those are the best news of the day... Best lap in last lap. Good tyre management and/or not trying best pace during race sim?
