I agree Verstappen won't be champion, but not because he needs to "learn "something.
It will be because his car isn't fastest, which is almost always why a given driver doesn't win a race or championship.
With some notable exceptions of course.
Even when his car was the fastest he did not win(or maximize points intake).
The speed of his car relative to his competitors is not his greatest weakness. His problem is that he causes too many collisions, lucky for him he is rarely penalized as he should be. In 2019 he caused at least 10 collisions, and that was supposed to be his "clean" year.

Verstappen will end up like Vettel, coddled by his team, but never corrected for his faults. Maybe he'll get a dominant car like Vettel did and win a couple championships, but he won't fix his greatest weakness until he is held accountable for it.
