Might not be good for the RB either. Looks a bit of a handful at times as well.

There was an interesting video about why why Merc, with their lower rake design, are always pretty strong in the rain in the hybrid era.

Part of it has to do with the slightly higher height of the tread on the wet and intermediate tires and how that interacts with rake angle and the aero stability of the car. So much of the performance these days is a consequence of tire deformation/interaction.

So because they couldn’t do the reverse grids, F1 decided to dig up Bernie’s idea and spice up the second race at the same venue with sprinklers!

They are cornering well, losing most on the straights, the rain should help them relative to the field. Their drivers have dubious rain records though.

Yeah, I actually think rain will be a leveller for Ferrari given most of their lost time is in a straight line.
