Don't forget Sieper mentioned something about an email from Toto that said "crush them", perhaps this is what it was in reference to.

Not exactly. They alternate who gets the choice of when to go out. So that it is Bottas' choice this week, I reckon he will choose to go after lewis to get the tow.
If since been informed that was likely from those headline regurgitate newssites and that it was (very) old news. But OK, that second update was not the same person.
I assume that because the RBR is still a handful and the drivers don't have full confidence in the car.
Mhhh. Who knows. Another reason is also thinkable. SAT have not been up so high in the field yet. Regardless of RBR.
Ricciardo had his best lap removed that was faster than Gasly, it was about 8 tenths off Lewis but cant remember if it was faster than what Lando did. He ran a fraction wide at Parabolica, so it didnt gain him anything substantial.PlatinumZealot wrote: ↑04 Sep 2020, 17:56Ricciardo spoke to soon. Renault smack dab in the mid-field.
Something is telling me Gasly is looking likely this week. Possibly Honda doing a 'demo' too
I think they alternate who has the choice to go first. Hamilton had the choice to go first or second in spa and he chose to go first. So I believe bottas will have the choice this weekend, and will obviously choose second.
During Free Practice session 3 and the Qualifying Practice, the time published in accordance with Item 8 of the Race Directors Event Notes will be used as a guide by the stewards to determine if a Driver is considered to be driving unnecessarily slowly on an out lap or any warm up lap.”Mchamilton wrote: ↑04 Sep 2020, 19:01They have a rule in qualifying where minimum lap time has to be a certain percentage of their best P2 time I believe, didn't hear the exact rule in commentary but they did mentioned it.
Did anybody catch it?

Already in the 1:20’s and it was only practiceJuzh wrote:Anyway, days of record setting quali pace are over, unless teams figure a way around engine map change ban. We know highest engine setting in race is worth 1s over normal modes (horner to wolf comment for bottas' fast lap in spain), and quali mode is worth another 1s over this I'd say, so pace will drop significantly.
Predicting no car under 1.21
