Considering next year rules don't change we need to keep developing cause this time it's gonna be a two year race before the reset to be best of the rest.

Rules are changing for next year. New floor, diffuser etc.

I would say Sainz should try to pass one Mercedes and use it as a Shield to gain some ground compared to the 4th car in order not to have DRS.

Unless the Mercs get a bad start, he'll try to avoid overtaking them in order to not lose net time.

Do you think? He's a racer, and they have fought at the start to get past Mercs at the start before, so I think he will ignore what car it is and go for it if he sees a chance.

Although Lando has more point than Carlos, so far Carlos has usually looked the better racer. With both cars up the sharp end and hopefully out of the 'squabble' in mid-midfield I watch with interest. So often Lando seems to lose a couple of places at the start and Carlos gain them, so..

I don’t see Carlos gaining a couple of places at the start this time round unfortunately

Good start from both Mclarens. Now we need to get out of DRS. Sainz managed it. Waiting to see if Norris can pull out of DRS.

Exactly! Both are doing a great job... Carlos opening a gap to Lando is also good for PitStops

Did Lando try to get some distance or just not keep up with Carlos?

Lando seems to really pull away from Perez in the back end of S2 and S3.

I feel like if he can just get Perez out of DRS he will pull away.

I have a feeling Lando is mostly focusing on exits of parabolica and chicanes. He can’t be caught if exits are solid
