Suspension design to allow better acceleration and seamless gb a little
This is just one idea. I don't know real reason.Cuky wrote: ↑15 Sep 2020, 20:38I must confess I am confused a bit with an exhaust solution that Yamaha has tested today at Missano on VR46's bike. Since quite a few years now tendency was to either have one low and one high exhaust pipe (for V engines) and as short as possible exhaust for inline engines. And now Yamaha came up with... well this:

Their usual exhaust configuration in 2020 for comparison

If anyone can enlighten me as to what this change may bring please do, as I don't have a great understanding of exhaust systems.
a conical exhaust is usually good for higher power. And I think they just tried it to see if they can cope with a "harder" to ride but more powerful engine.Cuky wrote: ↑15 Sep 2020, 20:38I must confess I am confused a bit with an exhaust solution that Yamaha has tested today at Missano on VR46's bike. If they decide to use it, they are probably going to package it like Honda did in 2013
