I can't be beat by a (looks at Scotracer's profile) a Scottish!!! Now, I demand that an Formula 1 race takes place in Magny Cours. I want it now. If I lose, I'll take a plane to Edinburgh and pay Scotracer a whole night of beverages. Else, I expect him to fly to either Bilbao and San Sebastian, where he will learn the true meaning of "chiquiteo".
I am not amazed by F1 cars in Monaco. I want to see them driving in the A8 highway: Variable radius corners, negative banking, and extreme narrowings that Tilke has never dreamed off. Oh, yes, and "beautiful" weather tops it all.

The first & last corners are actually quite interesting... both off camber and variable radius. But I'm glad to have Suzuka back.

A quite interesting analysis of last weeks Jerez tests. You might need to translate the website by using http://www.google.de/language_tools?hl=en (spanish >> english (or whatever you prefer))

Felipe Massa (BRA) Ferrari F60 pitstop practice. Note: rear jack man attached via cable to main pitstop structure. Formula One Testing, Day Three, Bahrain International Circuit, Sakhir, Bahrain, Wednesday 18 February 2009.
Does anyone know anything about the highlighted part of that caption?

Also I noticed the traffic light was back...

Is that the Earth for the car Jack (metal) just in case the bodywork happens to be live.

As for the traffic light - technology for technology sake......some people never learn.

Maybe its a tether so the car cant leave with the rear jack, we seen that happen before havent we? or maybe a sensor to send a signal to the pit stop lighting system... but why couldnt they do it wireless.
