Unless it chucks it down. Bearing in mind he actually has a pit stop in hand over P2.
Sounds like the exact thing you could overcome with driver skill.SiLo wrote: ↑15 Nov 2020, 02:20Wet + oil + cold temps is not the same a say, the wet conditions in Styria. If you don't understand that I can't help you.wesley123 wrote: ↑15 Nov 2020, 00:49Isn't that generally the whole thing with every sport ever?
Which is it? The one who got their material working the best(ie. the better driver), or the material itself? That grid lineup is in no way indicative of driver skill, which apparently is all we rely on in conditions like this lol. I think Max is odds on for the win tomorrow from the front row. Unless it's dry and then I expect maybe the Mercedes to make their way through.
It's funny, because people always say that rain or changing conditions is the great equalizer, but now that Stroll owned the field this suddenly doesn't apply anymore? Does Lawrence own a coffee business or something, because apparently Stroll has been pissing in a lot of people's coffee.
I think you've hit the nail on the head with patience, it would have been vary easy for Hamilton to make a mistake trying to get past Vettel, like Max did with Perez, but he just held station.El Scorchio wrote: ↑15 Nov 2020, 13:38I am genuinely surprised Hamilton has got the car out in front as well. Bit of luck with others making errors but it shows the value of patience and keeping the car pointing the right way.
It feels weirdly like the story of the turtle and the hare.
It’s a very valid point. Basically taking a big old gamble! I’m glad this race has drama until the very end. Maybe they are worried the new inters won’t work well.Restomaniac wrote: ↑15 Nov 2020, 13:46unless it chucks it down. Bearing in mind he actually has a pit stop in hand over P2.
Why take that risk?
Maybe so but he would now appear 4 seconds ahead.El Scorchio wrote: ↑15 Nov 2020, 13:48It’s a very valid point. Basically taking a big old gamble! I’m glad this race has drama until the very end. What I like is that it’s creating drama right to the end!Restomaniac wrote: ↑15 Nov 2020, 13:51Maybe so but he would now appear 4 seconds ahead.El Scorchio wrote: ↑15 Nov 2020, 13:48It’s a very valid point.
