I think it's great to see Williams working so hard to improve the car. I like to think this is positive and shows they have the resources to develop the car. (Although I suppose you could say they are "thrashing" rather than "developing" . . . ) I think most of us would love to see Williams field a truly competitive car.scarbs wrote:Its nothing like the RB5 nose cone, look at the new horizontal snow plough under the nose cone...!marinopc wrote:
They also build their similar version of the RB5 nosecone.
It's a pleasure to see Williams working this way!
This week already the team have tried
The cockpit fins
Revised sidepods
New pod wings
Turning vanes dropped from the nose cone
Totally revised diffuser
Cooling outlet near cockpit
New wing mirrors
Shoulders added to the scuttle area
New front brake duct scoops
Frank and Patrick have only followed the 'needs' of so many staff because of others throwing millions at the game - Im sure they would build a car in their garden shed if it meant they could go racing - finances are fine so says their CFO in Motor Sport UK - I'm sure they are but the cost cuts will be welcome Im sure.xpensive wrote:I sincerly hope that Bernie's money can help the team through this season without going bust. 2010 should provide a financial relief given that those radical cost-cutting measures materializes, when I am afraid the days of a 500+ staff at Grove will be long gone within soon anyway.
