Yes well done, we didn't noticeFloyd wrote:Look whos checking out the mclaren on the right
So was there any need for that? If I was him I would have looked back over the past pages to read up on what was happening. He posted something extremely obvious, and that was pointed out lots of times before, so I just had a little sarcastic joke.. And then you post this? Jeez, relax.hulmerist wrote:yeah, i mean, he could've looked back over all the pages and checked what had been said before he said it
i mean god...what a dick
first post and you jump on them
Yes there was.natef1 wrote:So was there any need for that?
I did not jump down their throat, it was not in bad taste, it was not offensive, but it was a little bit of sarcasm. Or is that not allowed?kilcoo316 wrote:Yes there was.natef1 wrote:So was there any need for that?
Whenever a first poster comes on, you don't jump down their throat.
It is a rather distasteful event I've seen here all too often.
With a first time poster, its in bad taste.natef1 wrote:Or is that not allowed?
You have to be careful when analysing the tilt as the cars have different lifting hook positions (I think) and this will influence the car's tilt.vall wrote:anybody could dig up a collection of recent images with different cars lifted? This could give an idea about the weight distribution differences. Macca looks quite heavy on the rare? I remember seeing other cars more tilted.
Oh, fine, whatever you saykilcoo316 wrote:With a first time poster, its in bad taste.natef1 wrote:Or is that not allowed?
You should be aware of that. Unless you are lacking in manners?
Yeah spot on mate, looking at a car tilting when being lifted is not a particularly accurate way to guage weight distribution. But if you know where the connecting position is, then you could i guess. I remember someone on here doing some photo comparisons between cars and it appeared the McLaren airbox was alot more closer to the rear. I think most of the cars have the 'hook point' a little rearward of the centre between front and rear wheel centrelines, and that said, even a 50/50 balanced car would appear "nose heavy". That the McLaren's 'hook point' appears further rearwards than most, it would probably suggest that their weight balance is more toward the rear.blobslosak wrote:You have to be careful when analysing the tilt as the cars have different lifting hook positions (I think) and this will influence the car's tilt.vall wrote:anybody could dig up a collection of recent images with different cars lifted?
