Especially with Verstappen having the better starts over the season so far.
That's because RB didn't put a barn door RW on Perez's carEl Scorchio wrote: ↑05 Jun 2021, 15:19Love the way Di Resta is trying so hard to emphasise Bottas is playing ‘the team game’ for Hamilton yet not acknowledging in the slightest Red Bull have done the same.
The start is going to be a thriller. Verstappen will not be shy and not will LeClerc. I can see Hamilton conceding second place and concentrating on the long game. I just hope LeClerc and Verstappen don’t have a d*** waving competition and end up shooting themselves in the foot.
Oops, that didn't age wellmkay wrote: ↑05 Jun 2021, 12:41I don't think so. They weren't even that far down in Monaco. HAM would have trailed GAS by 1 second if it wasn't for the tow!siskue2005 wrote: ↑05 Jun 2021, 12:25Mercedes are struggling on one lap pace sure.
But I don't think it's that bad as you are saying. They may be 4 5 6 in q3 in the end. But this is not Monaco, and they are genie threat for race win from their Friday long run
PU mode won't bridge the gap fully.
How do you know it wasn’t Bottas’ preference to try and help himself in s2. It’s just lazy and wrong to say Mercedes are the only team who ever ever does it.sosic2121 wrote: ↑05 Jun 2021, 15:28That's because RB didn't put a barn door RW on Perez's carEl Scorchio wrote: ↑05 Jun 2021, 15:19Love the way Di Resta is trying so hard to emphasise Bottas is playing ‘the team game’ for Hamilton yet not acknowledging in the slightest Red Bull have done the same.
Since Lewis is P2 he will be on the inside I believe so if he gets a really good launch Charles has to be careful on the outside, and if he gets a bad lunch Max has to be careful on the outside.El Scorchio wrote: ↑05 Jun 2021, 15:29The start is going to be a thriller. The team positioned Charles expertly, he got the perfect tow from Hamilton, he was far enough behind in the first and second sectors and(taking advantage of Mercedes double warm up lap) glued to him in sector 3.
