But the infant bieber-tistic atitudes on this forum, I could do without. Weirdly enough though, these same ppl have (at least to me) great technical insights and can explain very well .. it just baffles.
Hahaha bieber-tastic made me laugh.

I think it's also something like "2020/2021 became the years about adversity and discrimination and equity" so in order for MB Fans to keep fashionable with the current year they need to construct an alternate history where MB/Ham is persecuted and hounded and is not absolutely the most dominant constructor and driver pairing in the history of the sport (by a wide margin)

Because the alternative, as they say these days, is "problematic"

Personally I think it's all entertaining.

Maybe it was mini-sectors .......
Bingo.
No bingo, if u see my screenshot above of mini sectors Max was not even purple in mini sectors.
Gasly, Leclerc, bottas had even better mini sectors
Problem is those mini sectors can be deceiving.
You don't need to be purple to get best overall sector time. Verstappen had 2 green and 1 yellow mini-sector before he had to lift for yellow/red flags. He had purple S1 up to that point (from q2) so it's not like he wasn't on a good lap so far.

For example, leclerc had 2 purples, 3 greens and 6 yellows but still achieved best sector 1 time in Q3 before having to lift for red flags.

For someone laughing at ‘beiber- tastic’ attitudes, that’s a pretty sad and ironic post.

Apparently RB has changed all 4 tyres on VER car. Dunno if they were that damaged or how did they get a chance to do it. That's according to Chris Medland

I guess the irony is lost on him.

Very interesting. I wonder if they found a cut in one of them or something. Seems convenient though. I assume/hope there have been no shenanigans involved...

Are Redbull using the first engine of the year still?

If so, that will be interesting to see if it makes it to the end. Equally, Mercedes might have a problem on their brand new unit.

would be interesting to know which set Verstappen got for the start now. Probably the one with 8 laps on, I guess, as he did less than 5 laps on all other sets, so it would be an (unfair) advantage to use those

This is apparently a reason why they needed a change

I was laughing at the phrase. I haven't heard Justin Bieber mentioned in maybe 5 years. It was a blast from the past, that's for sure!

Attitudes are neither here nor there. I'm impassivley observing and not judging. I'm sure you could find a topic I'm reflexively tribal on, I've bathed in the same culture as everyone here.

So are the tyres Verstappen now have more worn or fresher?

Be nice to know how many laps that set has done, which is what really matters. Considering they do a warmup lap and burnouts, I'm fairly certain this would not have been an issue.

I think we already found that topic in your above post!

But in general yes, it can be hard to find absolute objectivity which is not terrible, but it’s when it’s discarded in favour of massive subjectivity on any side that it’s an issue that often lights the touch paper on here.

Agree, but since the problem came from FIA call to the weightbridge I guess they feel responsible and conceded the tire switch to avoid any problem/claim
