Regarding BMW, difference between Heidfeld and Kubica = 4 tenths = KERS advantage?

Too early to read into that I think. But who knows. I think FP2 will help figure that out. Although I'd reserve judgment till the race is over. I wanna see some consistent laps first.

So nice to see proper action again :!:

I hope Williams and Brawn would be as fast as they seem.
And I quite like Ant's commenting.

I'd say that they are that fast, hence all the drama regarding the diffusers, the other teams must have known or have an idea of how much of an advantage it is to have protested.

Lets hope Williams and Brawn don't fall behind throughout the year due to other teams developing similar diffusers

Could this thread get a serious title please? OP?

The track is still very green, so lets not make any assumptions yet about KERS being an advantage or not. And each driver may have had to run a different program. Too many variables at the moment.

At least of the front runners, yes. They didn't cover much of the second half of the field.

I'm too lazy to find the Williams fw31 topic, and I don't remember this being discussed... take a look at the splitter that is at the bottom of the noscone attachment...

I reckon that would be for ballast because as i recall Brawn chose the low nosecone because they can put the ballast as low as possible. Maybe Williams is trying to do something similar?

It looks like BMW are in quite a bit of trouble as they were low in P1 and are dead last in P2. Any have any theories as to what could be wrong?

Hi, I'm new here but just wanted say that I cant believe how awful those front wings look. It seems that they may be very prone to damage being so wide.
The old ones were easy enough to damage but these seem very exposed.

Kubica Team radio with engineer was hilarious.
Team ask him how is the car handling now while he was able to improve lap time. He reply with a bitter pill saying something like. Car is not working at all. It's just slipping around the track.

This open radio is nice thing :]

again, all 'diffuser' cars dominating. Any chance the other teams can get their own shipped in by sunday?
