What on earth is going on? Why haven't they moved the car yet? This is very poor.
No one was allowed to touch the car, because there is voltage on the car.

Looks like they'll lose the remainder of FP1 just because of that one car on a track where everyone desperately needs every single lap ... what a mess.

I think this race has the capacity to be a banger. Lack of familiarity (i.e. poor data) generally leads to more variation of outcome, and while there probably won't be a lot of overtaking, there should be plenty of close racing.

Highly dependent on the tyres though. I think they've gone too hard with the compounds.

Blimey, these marshalls seem a little slow. Now they've been given the all clear, theyr'e making quite the faff of picking the car up.

Wtf. How many people and time you need to remove a car? Come on

Edit:

It seems that ERS light is not green
Ah yes. I see now they finally have the rubber sheeting out. How long has this taken though? 25 minutes?

It took them 20 minutes to find a person with a tester, this is not normal. Cleaning the gravel took 15 minutes in F3, this also does not fall under the meaning of the word normal.

First time I drove on Zandvoort, there was a white flag during the race because they were driving on track with a Isuzu van to bring the marshal posts their lunch 😂

Not a lot changed since '73 it seems. Lets hope it doesnt come to serious incidents.

As a bonus they took it on a parade lap around the entire track instead of putting the car in the first available spot ... cool ...

I understand that they have to be careful if the light on the car isn't green but this really shouldn't take half an hour, they were staring at the car for 15 minutes and it took the guy with the multimeter a mere 12 minutes to take a leisurely stroll to the car in order to confirm (?) that it is indeed unsafe so they had to use gloves when removing it - the FIA really needs to tighten down that procedure.

On which turn can they overtake on this circuit? I can’t see that point.
Turn 1 and staying side-by-side until turn 2 seems to be possible. :D =D> =D>

This track is insane, I love it. :D I don't know how they got Grade 1 certification for it, but I am glad they did. :D

Gravel runoffs instead of tarmac too -- this is a proper track indeed. Many Grade 2 circuits are far less dangerous (Road America or Laguna Seca for example?), gosh knows how they got the Grade 1 for Zandvoort but thank goodness they did. =D> :D
