P2 and P3 - we could put Max under big pressure in T1 tomorrow.
If we could jump Max we could cause some real headaches for both him and Lewis.
This is Ricciardo's time to shine. Verstappen cannot risk a collision in T1, Ricciardo should just tell him outright he is dive bombing at start and to be ready for it.
I believe the confusion is that in Mexico 2018, both Max and Daniel were on the front row and that was the last time Ricciardo was on the front row for the start of a GPFittingMechanics wrote: ↑11 Sep 2021, 17:11During the broadcast they said it is the first time McLaren starts from the front row since Mexico 2018? (IIRC), I'm looking at it doesn't seem to be the case. Am I misremembering or they made a mistake?
When did they last start from front row?
2016 Austrian GP - Button 3rd on grid.bauc wrote: ↑11 Sep 2021, 17:26Great job from both RIC and NOR, it will be great to see Mclaren on the front row tomorrow, I think Button in the Mclaren HONDA was 2nd on the A1 ring in 2016/7?, Since then we haven't been at the front. Also the old rivalry between RIC and VER will be back for the start as well.
