Many teams really make use of Flo-Viz these days.
One would assume because there is no chance to test the new parts properly.

Button car seems to be bouncing on the rev limiter half way down the main straight already?
When do they have to finalise the gear ratios? Before the weekend starts, only before qualy?

I suppose RBR is too far in the development game to test the A-spec here. I wonder how the A-spec, 2011-esque sidepods and exhaust would do compared to the current ramp-tunnel rear end. It seems like the A-spec would give a little less rear grip, but have more predictable flow and less drag.

I believe before qualifying, then at qualifying they enter perc ferme rules. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Schumacher P1 at the moment. I think it is first time in last 3 or 4 races that Merc has topped practice times.

Nope. Fia have to be informed of intended gear ratios within 2 hours of the end of practice 2, changes have to be accomplished on the Friday.

Gear ratios must be finalised (and submitted to the FIA) TWO HOURS after FP2 ends. (ie no more mucking about with gears during fp3)

Yeah, thats why i asked, because I could have sworn I heard somewhere that gear ratios needs to be finanlised. Macca about 10kph down on the quickest (and about 9 down on the average of high 338.xxx kph).
