Could those tubes be integrated into the carbon fiber to save weight?Thunders wrote:First Pictures from China by AMuS:

If you're referring to the horizontal tubes, those are the crash structure, and no, you can't save weight there - they're a mandated design.captainmorgan wrote:Could those tubes be integrated into the carbon fiber to save weight?Thunders wrote:First Pictures from China by AMuS:

The tire temperature issues could improve if only they went faster.Thunders wrote:In the Team Preview it sounds like they fear they won't get the Tires to work. (even less than in the First 2 GP's)

So if they could crank up the pu due to cooler conditions they could go faster, use tyres better etc., no?outer_bongolia wrote:The tire temperature issues could improve if only they went faster.Thunders wrote:In the Team Preview it sounds like they fear they won't get the Tires to work. I thought the limiting factor on the PU was temp. So I was under the impression with the lower temps in China, they'd be able to crank up the power on the PU. They seem to be down playing that and playing up the aero and tire disadvantages of the cold.
I hope they're just being coy.
