F1 site says, leclerc and Sainz had 1 set of mediums available for the race.
Both Ferraris ran 2 sets of mediums. How about that?

Max started 10th not on front row or alongside leclerc ffs , a proper strategy and overtaking was never needed .Xyz22 wrote: ↑31 Jul 2022, 20:34Dialtone just highlighted that Leclerc drove another incredible race, like he did all season outside Imola and France. Once again, the team let him down.
Winning was very difficult because overtaking Max on track without a massive delta in a track like Hungary is almost a mission impossible. The car was far from perfect (and was already clear in quali) but a P2 would have been easy to get.
Unfortunately, we lost time in the first stint due to Russell and Sainz. We also pitted too early for whatever reason, the same time as the soft runners. Crazy stuff.Shal_Leg16 wrote: ↑31 Jul 2022, 20:43Max started 10th not on front row or alongside leclerc ffs , a proper strategy and overtaking was never needed .Xyz22 wrote: ↑31 Jul 2022, 20:34Dialtone just highlighted that Leclerc drove another incredible race, like he did all season outside Imola and France. sainz held them back ( nobody takling much about it ) , the gap wasnt good enough after first stint that allowed everyone Max, Lewis to come into the race ...whats the point of qualifying 2nd-3rd when guys from 7th -10th finish ahead ? Same thing happened at Silverstone Hamilton was in for a shot but Ocon SC incident scraped it off.Xyz22 wrote: ↑31 Jul 2022, 20:47Unfortunately, we lost time in the first stint due to Russell and Sainz. I saw they had 2 sets. This is directly from the f1 site:
He asked if Sainz could go faster and the engineer started the usual "Copy", "Checking" "We'll come back to you" clownshow.
This seems to be most likely...Shal_Leg16 wrote: ↑31 Jul 2022, 17:46both Sainz and binotto saying - car had no pace ,
yet Charles overtook Russell and had pulled a 6s advantage on Russell and 10s advantage on Max. Was on course for a win How ?
or is its that Sainz is trying to hide his average performance and binotto is trying to hide his stupid strategy team ( he didn't wnat to sh*t on them in open )
No trolling? Genuine question. Especially when Binotto has claimed they are going to need to make changes; which is well documented.
timbo wrote: ↑31 Jul 2022, 21:26Bad strategy calls notwithstanding (why start on Mediums?), the car was not switching the tyres today at all, see Sainz on softs.
I wonder if they made a mistake already on Saturday by not adjusting setup for a cooler weather.
On Friday they were much better at saving the tyres, which in hotter weather could be an advantage, but turned into a weakness on Saturday.
boring... widely reported and discussed in this forum too that the floor change in France was compliant already.chrisc90 wrote: ↑31 Jul 2022, 22:01No trolling? Genuine question. Especially when Binotto has claimed they are going to need to make changes; which is well documented.
Either they have already changed the floor to be compliant, or they have a floor waiting to test in Spa.
Fail to see where the trolling is there.

Asking this question in the Ferrari team thread, especially after such a race day, is trolling.chrisc90 wrote: ↑31 Jul 2022, 22:01No trolling? Genuine question. Especially when Binotto has claimed they are going to need to make changes; which is well documented.
