Max made a kamikaze and Hamilton was turning into the corner, not trying to do him dirty as max always does. The overhead shot makes it very clear.

Of course team delusions think he was turning in on him.
Meanwhile back on planet Earth, it's quite obvious how hamilton steered into his back right tyre.
Max made a divebomb from downtown, locked all fours losing control, went into a car trying to make the corner as a total passenger. Watch the overhead replay.

12 races done, 12 to go.
The gap b/w Max and Norris in WDC is 84 points = 12 x (25 - 18).
So if Norris wins every race from now and Max finishes 2nd in all of them, still it will be equal points. Throw in fastest laps and sprint races, and this has potential to be DejaVu circa 2021 - Brit hero-darling v/s Dutch villain :D
That BS would be annoying as hell. But as the majority of F1 press is English, it's unavoidable if the contest gets too close. What are the odds of Oscar having a miraculous run of form from here, winning all 12 races?
Oh boy! It has started.
Luckily there is a Australian villain soon in the game

Max even forced Lambiase to tell him how childish his behaviour was. This guy just goes nuts when the slightest thing does not go his way. Instead he should be thankful for all this amazing team has given him.

Max was not in control of his car, thats all that needs to be said about this incident.
He brakes in time to make the corner if Lewis doesn't move on the brakes
We have always known these moves to be dive bombs. Why is it different here?

Despite many claiming Hamilton was "driving the normal racing line" - no he wasn't. Nor was his deviation from the racing line "small". He drives from the outside of the track to very almost the inside of the track. He brakes in a straight line then brakes towards the inside of the corner after he sees Max coming

Where the f**k was Max going? Was clearly not the corner. You’re out of your league and arguing with this is insanity.
As long as he's alongside on the inside at the apex it's allowed by the FIA rules

Max was penalized at Austria for moving on the brakes despite Norris divebombing from way back. Don't see a huge degree of difference except Norris was on the outside (commanding less right to space)

Lewis steering to the right on the brakes means that Max applies steering lock, which reduces the grip available for braking hence he wasn't able to slow down as much and the lockup
So that means silverstone is not 50/50 then, Max was 100% wrong in Silverstone because he should not have turned in? Is that what you are saying?

Surely penalty for Max…
For what? Hamilton turned on him when he blocked his wheels.
If you arrive with both fronts locked, you're not in control and have no rights in any ensuing incident. Lewis was taking the line and Max dive bombed. That's on Max alone.

I think Hamilton actually put oil on the track so Verstappen couldn't stop

The overhead makes it abundantly clear, there's way, waaay more than a car's width on the inside to use, but max isn't in control of his car to use it.

In addition, Hamilton opens up at the last moment when he sees him coming. Not sure how one can be so delusional as to claim Lewis turned in on him.

The fact that GP didn’t even want to hear it from Max after this was telling, but people will argue here defending it like it’s their job.

He steers to the right to avoid hamilton, unloading the front right which then locks up first, causing the overspeed

I knew he would be hard to deal with whenever he stopped having the fastest car. He does not really like to have to fight for it. The only race he wants to have l is to put it on pole and enjoy gapping the field by 20-30 sec. If he deosn't have the fastest car I doubt he will be in F1 for much longer.

Yeah, because the car in front moved on the brakes.
