I think anything you want(holes, sections, etc) iirc it is completely deregulated excpet for the minimal surface of the airscoop in lateral viewraymondu999 wrote:"any" geometry? Or an additional section?
Newey stated that the skid block, which is sacrificial, was loose and trailing on the ground. There was concern that it would detach itself and hit a rear tyre.Flanker27 wrote:What about Vettel sparkling for some laps in the end?
Furthermore, the italian TV technical commentator, engineer Giancarlo Bruno, talked about a strange (and maybe illegal) hydraulic device that he discovered in the RB suspension...
the two facts could be connected?
That italian commentator (an engineer) saw that detail in some TV images.gilgen wrote:Interesting to see that an Italian commentator was able to see something that all the technical wizards scrutinising the car could not find.
do you really think that Newey would say things as they are in these circumstances?gilgen wrote:Newey stated that the skid block, which is sacrificial, was loose and trailing on the ground. There was concern that it would detach itself and hit a rear tyre.

Is there a link for us to see what particular device the talk is about?
So now it is someone who saw some TV PICTURES , with a small metal piece being inserted, with WHAT SEEMS TO BE a hydraulic link?variante wrote:That italian commentator (an engineer) saw that detail in some TV images.gilgen wrote:Interesting to see that an Italian commentator was able to see something that all the technical wizards scrutinising the car could not find.
Those images show RB technicians putting a small metal piece, with (what seems to be) an hydraulic link, near the front suspensions area.

Strange no one else has seen it and strange that it has only cropped up now that Red Bull have found some speed. If they did have some magic device they would have had it on all season and they would have had a massive advantage long before now.Flanker27 wrote:Furthermore, the italian TV technical commentator, engineer Giancarlo Bruno, talked about a strange (and maybe illegal) hydraulic device that he discovered in the RB suspension...
