It would be interesting to know exactly who, in your estimation, is practising "double standards". Would it be those who hold contrary opinions or fans of other teams? The term, double standards, is a very strong one; something that should be used with careful consideration.LM10 wrote: ↑10 Jun 2018, 17:25I'm not worried, don't worry.Just pointing out the double standard going on. The double standard is first to tell that Mercedes has tyre problems and therefore lack pace in Qualifying and then not to mention it anymore, to make it look like Ferrari lost several tenths of a second on pure pace.
The guys who really would have been worried if the situation for Ferrari was as bad as it's mentioned here are the Ferrari team. I've not seen any worried faces until now.
Yea, let's enjoy today's race and then we will see more in France. With Mercedes on new engines.
Not 0.139 off pole, but from Bottas. He is reference.siskue2005 wrote: ↑10 Jun 2018, 18:33Yeah, just +0.007 in Sector 1 and +0.004 in sector 2 and +0.180 in sector 3 slower than BottasSevach wrote: ↑10 Jun 2018, 14:19Hamilton was slower than Bottas on every sector, yet people are still saying without the lockup (which btw didn't lose him much time, he still took the correct line) pole was his...Sieper wrote: ↑10 Jun 2018, 11:41Lewis locked up on both his Q3 runs, that’s what caused him not to be on pole. New engine would have possibly saved his arse but they don’t have it yet.
Too bad for Lewis but why should he always be on pole, even If he is not mistake free. He starts from P4 and If the FP pace was genuine he still has a good chance to win the race, overtaking is possible here (though tough).
how dare people say that the lockup cost him in sector 3.![]()

Even more interesting thing is, even after loosing 0.180 sec in sector 3 alone, Lewis was only 0.139 sec off the pole lap![]()

Starting at 22.7 seconds at the best pit stop. Average somewhere about 23.5 seconds.vehicledynamics wrote: ↑10 Jun 2018, 16:51One quick question: Anyone knows the average pit loss time in Canada? Thank you!![]()
Thanks, btw what exactly happened to Grosjean's engine, do we know?
LH was still far back when they cut to replay of RAI losing it.F1NAC wrote: ↑09 Jun 2018, 21:50Well ot was shown how Kimi quickly moved off the line as soon as LH appeared behindkomninosm wrote: ↑09 Jun 2018, 21:46I'm like there is a broadcast director/manager right? What was he thinking? Oh Raikonnen had an out, he's gonna create some trouble for those behind him, let's keep the camera near him and see how Hamilton and Vettel pass him, no let's show some unrelated and UNEXCITING shots of random cars instead.
WTH?!
Thanks dude.Restomaniac wrote: ↑10 Jun 2018, 20:01Intercooler failure. Raikkonen has just had his changed due to it looking dodgy too.
You're oddly specific in your hate...
