Out of curiosity. What did Mclaren bring for Silverstone? Got any pictures to compare?
Red Flag. Lando might be lucky keeping his position the moment rain started dropping and the track might get wet a lot by the time they get back out.
Verstappen hitting the wall after coming out of his pitlane. I don't think that has ever happened before in F1.
Let's go Lando. P1 on Q1. The car does seem to like these changable conditions.
Aye that would be meCaribouBread wrote: ↑08 Jul 2023, 17:33I remember one person here predicting Mclaren to start winning after the Summer Break? What did he know? https://i.kym-cdn.com/entries/icons/ori ... fault.jpeg

Touch wood, this could be the start of a great season
Edit... And a huge congratulations to every single member of the team... a testament to all their hard work
You have to temper the excitement a little bit
Not sure why your asking now... I NEVER had any doubt!JordanMugen wrote: ↑08 Jul 2023, 18:02Do folks suppose Piastri made the right decision selecting McLaren instead of Williams '23 + '24 and Alpine '25?
Analysis of the RB floor have shown they were using geometries designed to create many different pressure differentials at different points of the tunnels in the floor to create an airflow behavior that creates the max floor seal. The maths and the preciseness of the floor aero is insane. Such fine margins make big differences. We must have done a very good job. The FW is pushing more air to the floor too.Emag wrote: ↑08 Jul 2023, 17:40Key's last contribution was the package that came before Austria. These new stuff have come from the new team Stella has put together.
And I am pretty sure Key was an overly cautious kind of guy. They played it too safe and the team admitted that after the season started in 2023. Now that he is gone, Podromou was allowed to explore different, more risky aero solutions?
The risk has payed off. I know there's noticeable change in sidepod philosophy, but I think the biggest contributor has got to be the new floor. They must be "cooking" something under there.
Ahahaha I think this place was awash with doubt prior to Austria lolthe EDGE wrote: ↑08 Jul 2023, 18:04Not sure why your asking now...
